| Nine Questions with Mina from Bleu Blatteroon |

My friend Mina and I decided to do a Q&A for our writing blogs! Here is our questionnaire session…

Me: When did you first start writing?
Mina: I first started writing at about nine years old, at the height of my Nancy Drew/Boxcar Children/Bobbsey Twins obsession πŸ˜€

Me: What author inspires you the most?
Mina: I’m not sure, I haven’t really drawn inspiration from a book in a while.

Me: Favorite genre to read/write?
Mina: Ohh that’s a hard question . . . I’m going to have to say action/adventure.

Me: Least favorite genre to read/write?

Me: What is the biggest challenge you face while writing?
Mina: Actually finishing the story, I think. I’m trying harder though!

Me: What POV do you prefer to write in?
Mina: I like first person a lot. Third is cool too, but I feel closer to the character if it’s first person.

Me: Favorite writing music?
Mina: Anything, really! Rock and rock sub-genres, instrumental, oldies . . .

Me: What is the longest story that you’ve ever written?
Mina: Ehheh, I’ve almost filled up a composition notebook! I’m pathetic.

Me: Do you prefer to write in the protagonist or antagonist POV?
Mina: That’s a good question! I don’t think I’ve ever written in the antagonist POV, but I would like to try it. I imagine it would help you understand their motives better.

So there you have it! If you have any more questions you would like to ask me, orΒ  Mina let us know in the comments below! And don’t forget to head over to her blog Bleu Blatteroon to see the questions she asked me and my answers! Make sure to follow Mina for more writing related goodness! πŸ™‚
